Slither is a romantic story about a parasite from outer space who, in the body of an earth man, falls in love with an earth woman, despite having previously impregnated a one night stand with hundreds of thousands of brain slugs.  But more than that, it’s director James Gunn’s love letter to fans of 80’s sci-fi horror.
