BBT critic Jef Taylor discovers an obscure straight to dvd movie, for the fanboy in your life.
For just four short seasons the creative team behind "The Simpson’s" produced the best ever sci-fi comedy show, "Futurama." Canceled before its time, fans and show creators alike clamored for a reversal of fortune. Wouldn’t it be great if it came back? It did? Holy shit, why didn’t anyone advertise it?!
That’s right, with no fanfare, network commercial blitz, or even internet banner ads, "Futurama" is back, with Bender’s Big Score. Generally I find advertising and marketing to be the purview of scum and evil, but I would have liked a little notice. I had to find out by reading someone’s blog if you can imagine it. So how is it?

The first obstacle to galvanizing the country with a treatment of an issue is that only some small percentage of the nation gives two craps about the internet.

Getting some Gore in our Blood and Blade
Thanks to living in the future my options for receiving information are nearly unlimited. One strong example of this is I’ve taken to downloading audiobooks as MP3s, which is a improvement over the old way of reserving audiobooks from the public library via computer, which was already so simple as to be staggering. I can also download many free text versions of various books and load them onto my palm pilot, so I’m ready to better myself at any time.
